We're ready...almost!

Since Kiran moved into his big boy room, the baby gets Kiran's nursery. But we did make some changes so it's not just "Kiran's old room". There's new furniture (thanks to a crib recall), my mom came and painted over Kiran's name on the wall, and we will get something to hang on the bare walls...maybe. Anyway, here's the revamped nursery...just waiting for a baby to occupy it!

Happy New Year!

Our friends graciously hosted a "family friendly" NYE party. It was soooo fun. Four couples, 6 kids (age 1-5), and lots of fun. There was a balloon drop for the kids and a pinata. The kids were amazing...played well together, went to sleep without any trouble, and Kiran even slept until after 8 the next morning!

Kiran and I started to bring up all the baby stuff from the basement a couple of weeks ago. Kiran had lots of fun exploring his old things and getting ready to share them with his baby brother.

Although Kiran has plenty of "real" transformers and cars to play with, he loves to use his imagination. So, he pretends his dollhouse people are transformers and they ride in his slippers, of course!

Kiran helped me make tons of goodies to take with us to the celebrations in Wisconsin. It was lots of fun and he was a great helper! He didn't even eat TOO many of our creations!
