Yep, Avi is eating cereal!! A couple weeks after he turned 4 months we started giving Avi cereal. I was pretty set on waiting until 6 months (as the WHO and AAP recommend), but Nishu was convinced it would help him sleep better...and our pediatrician agreed. Well, he was pretty luke warm about the organic brown rice cereal I got him, but he loves his oatmeal. I'm making his baby food just like I did for Kiran and so far he's tried pears, avocado, and banana. He loves his pears, but isn't so crazy about the others...next up is sweet potatoes! We'll be sure to get pics as it's sure to be messy!

More T-ball
Kiran's new t-ball league consists of 4 "teams". He's on the green team and they have games every monday and wednesday. It's so cute and lots of fun! He does a great job!
Playing hard
All part of a typical day for Avi...
Trying to eat everything in site. Okay, so he's probably not really trying to eat everything, but he most definitely tries to get it all in his mouth!
Being Goofy...just like his big brother
Updated: So, I couldn't find the digital picture, but I had Nishu scan a copy of the picture of Kiran. Pretty funny - these boys definitely think alike!
Somewhere we have pictures of Kiran doing exactly the same thing...pulling Nishu's glasses right off his face. They are such funny little guys. I'll have to dig around and find the pic of Kiran so we can put them side by side.
Practicing Sitting
He's not sitting yet...but he's trying awfully hard. I can't believe how fast our little guy is growing up. He loves to sit up, supported by the boppy, and play. So cute!!
Avi's new diapers
I got a little "get away" a while ago and visited my cousin April with my other cousin Dawn. It was a blast...and while I was there Dawn convinced me to go cloth with Avi. So, we have given up disposable diapers in favor of these adorable, super comfy, eco-friendly diapers! And Avi is seriously cute and happy in them!!!
Fun with the slip'n'slide
Kiran got his first slip'n'slide (spiderman, of course!) and he loves it!! I can't quite get the "slide" part on his own, though, so Nishu has to help him out.
Weekend in Brookfield & Avi's first Puja
Playing catch up...It's been a while since I checked in and posted about what the boys are up to. So, here goes. When we were up in Wisconsin in May, Nishu's parents had a puja. It was Avi's first and boy did he look handsome in his kurta pajama!!
Kiran got to play some basketball with Dadaji, Ajay chacha, and papa!
