Playing Catchup! 4th of July Parade

Well, we've been busy, busy, busy! Dealing with first trimester exhaustion, working full-time, gearing up for our move, and chasing Kiran around has left me with little time or energy to update the blog. So, I'm taking some time tonight to post some pictures from the last few weeks. First, here are some pics from the Independence Day Parade in Bloomington. It was a fun parade, but a rainy, dreary day...didn't stop Kiran from getting right out there!

Waving at the floats...he thought that they would only throw candy if he waved. Needless to say he was a little waving machine!!

Standing in the rain. He wasn't really very aggressive and those big kids were like vultures when candy was thrown. Kiran walked away with 6 pieces of candy (some of which were given to him by older kids who felt bad for him), but he had a ton of fun and was quite happy with his six pieces of candy. In fact, there are still 2 lollipops in the pantry!
