A visit from Nana

My dad is working down in Illinois for the next several weeks...fortunately for us, he's working only a few miles from our house, which means we get to see more of him than usual. He stopped by Sunday for a visit - lots of fun! We grilled steak, I made a 3-layer belated birthday cake for him, and Kiran got lots of quality time. At bedtime Nishu asked him, "What was your favorite part of today?" and Kiran replied right away with, "Doing puzzles with Nana." So sweet!!

The cake! Dad took lots of it home with him - thank goodness! We don't need to eat that whole cake!
