A visit to "the oldhouse"

We spent the weekend before last back in Yorkville, which is always lots of fun. Dadaji and Dadi came to visit and we spend Saturday in Chicago with great friends! Here are a few pics.

Kiran had lots of fun "building Chicago." He also remembered Dadaji's engineering lessons from months ago. He told me we had to build the sky scrapers on the hard, flat floor rather than the carpet. And that I couldn't build a tall skinny tower because it "needs a good foundabase, like Dada said." So funny that he combined foundation and base! What a smarty!

He spent a lot time playing caregiver to his new stuffed panda, Pappy, and Habidader (his baby doll)! This rug in front of the sink/dishwasher was Pappy's bed and the bag of blocks was his suitcase.

He even built Habidader a throne...and was proud of it!

Donuts with papa.

Strolling in Chicago. He was such a good sport and just shopped contently with all us grown ups! He was thrilled to get to spend some time with Aunty Jess, and spent a great deal of time following her around. He was just like her little shadow!
