Kiran was a great helper in the kitchen last night...he helped me make tortellini soup and while he was eating his soup, he asked "May I have lima beans?" First, it just cracks me up when he says, "May I have....?" and second, what 3 year old asks for lima beans??? But I made him some lima beans (good thing I had some in the freezer!) and he gobbled up two heaping helpings, which was good. It made up for the his not eating the spinach in the soup!
We made green sugar cookie dough, too. Green being his absolute favorite color, of course! His favorite part is cracking the eggs....but that means I often have to pick out pieces of eggshell as he's not so great at it yet! I'll try to snap some pictures of him rolling the dough and using the cookie cutters tonight.
Oh, and we had a successful second night with no pull-up! He did wake up at about 10pm crying that he was thirsty. So, we went to the bathroom to go potty and got a small drink of water. Eventually he'll learn to live without the cup next to his bed, right?
