A sample of our dinner conversation

Tonight's conversation at the dinner table was so amusing that I had to share.

Kiran: Mama, the next time you have a baby in your belly and it comes out and it's zero (years old) give it to me and give me a car seat and then I can have a baby.

Nishu: Why do you want a baby?

Kiran: No, when I'm grown up.

Nishu: I have an idea, you can have a wife and have your own babies.

Kiran: How do you get wifes, papa?

Nishu: She has to like you a lot and then you ask her to spend the rest of your life with you. And hopefully she says yes.

Kiran: I already know who I'm going to ask...Zoe.

Nishu: You're going to spend the rest of your life with her? Why Zoe?

Kiran: Because we're silly together. And she's the only girl who likes me. Her and Whysper.

Nishu: They're the only girls who like you.

Kiran: I think so...maybe I'll meet more girls in college. But I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Nishu: With me?

Kiran: Yeah...and mama.

Sweet baby Avi

Need I say more?

I was trying to coax him into liking "tummy time" with fun and interesting toys...
It didn't work!

Backyard soccer, etc.

He was reinacting some transformers cartoon for Avi. Ha!

T-ball...take 2

Kiran's doing great in t-ball and, most importantly, having fun. It's rather comical to be on the sidelines watching, though. It's a class of 3-4 year olds, so Kiran is on the older side. Their coach has the patience of a saint! Those kids are all over the place, so they're starting slow - learning the bases, how to run the bases, how to get players out, etc. Here's a pic from last week and a short video of Kiran running to 1st base. I'll try to remember to bring the other camera next time, so I can get some closer shots!

Our first baseball game of the season

We have a minor league baseball team in the county next door, so we try to make it to a few games every season. It's a fun way to spend a day and they're very family friendly. Here are a few pics and a video from our first game this year...

Brothers

I just couldn't resist these shirts for the boys...so we had a bit of a photo session yesterday. Boy, is it hard to get a picture where they are both smiling, looking at the camera, etc. Lots of goofy shots! We also explored a new park while Nani was here and got ice cream, yum!
