First day of Pre-K

I should have taken more/better pictures...but I didn't. Kiran started Pre-K on Monday. It's right next door to his preschool room, but he was quite apprehensive about it and had a really rough time when we dropped him off on Monday. Nishu and I went together and poor Kiran tried his best to hide his nerves and muffle the tears, but in the end it all came pouring out anyway. Poor little guy! We gave him lots of extra hugs and reassurance and even picked him up a tad early. When we picked him us, he was happy and cheerfully told us, "I won't cry at drop off tomorrow...'cuz I know how fun it is now!"

Well, that would have been great except that Tuesday morning was a repeat of Monday's dropoff, only I was on my own. Noone to share the guilty feelings with. And, once again, he was as happy as a clam when I picked him up. Stinker!
