Fun with Eli and Jack!

What a fun weekend...Dawn, Jason, Eli, and Jack came to visit. And it is Eli and Jack. If ever I say "Jack and Eli" I am very quickly corrected. Kiran is adamant that they are "Eli and Jack" and not the reverse! We met them all in St. Charles at the Scarecrow Fest where we saw lots of fun scarecrow exhibits, played on the playground, and even made our own scarecrow! Then we headed to the riverwalk in Naperville and had some good ol' chicago pizza for dinner. The kids were so good and had lots of fun! Eli and Jack even went to bed like such big boys at our house. They did wake Jason up a tad on the early side - but all of the boys had a fun time Sunday, too. They did halloween crafts, decorated our windows, and rode their bikes to the "firetruck" park in our subdivision. We always look forward to their visits and have lots fun!! Just before they were leaving, Kiran was trying to find Jason and was running around yelling, "Jason Mausa...Jason Mausa." Jack was quick to correct him, "His name is Jason, not Jason Mausa...just Jason." Funny, navigating two cultures can be a bit challenging but Kiran will figure it all out!!

Heading down to the Scarecrow Fest.

A Monster's Inc themed display - saying "hi" to Mikey.

Running to the playground.

They had so much fun!

Riding the train with Jack.

Ha, ha...Jack must have been being pretty funny!

Getting ready to ride his first "roller coaster."

It was a little scary.

Hanging out after lunch.

Climbing the lightposts was lots of fun.

Having a little juice.

Aren't they an adorable trio??

Trying to wear his balloon sword as a bracelet...only Kiran would think of that!

"Wearing" his sword.

This GIANT pumpkin won 3rd place in a contest. It grew by ~40 lbs each night!!

Building our own scarecrow.

Team work!

What a sweet face!

Talking to Avi.

Posing with their scarecrow, only his head kept falling over!

We'll get his head back on right, again.

More poses with our scarecrow.

We got quite covered with straw in the process.

Now, turning the sword into a balloon hat.

Heading down the riverwalk. The ducks swam next to us and followed hoping for food. One even hopped right up onto the path in front of us.

Having a little chat with Genevieve outside of Barnes and Noble.

Doing "projects" in our PJs on Sunday morning.

Decorating the patio windows for Halloween.
